Course Objectives

This course introduces students to the principles, tools, and methodologies of digital and corpus linguistics. It explores how language data is collected, digitized, processed, and analysed using computational tools. Emphasis is placed on both theoretical perspectives and practical skills, including corpus design, annotation, and analysis across different linguistic levels. Students will also be introduced to basic statistical techniques and visualization methods used in corpus-based research.
